OK. I'm tired of playing the AFC game when it comes to online dating, so I'm coming to you guys for advice. :) This girl likes the band The Strokes, which is one of my favorite bands. I mentioned something about liking the Strokes so much I wanted to be the lead singer, and she says:

If you want to be like Julian so much, then why aren't the Strokes on your favorite bands list? lol.

This is true...they're not on my favorite bands list. Is this some kind of congruence test? Any responses appreciated...Thanks!

I doubt... I would say she just asked like that, or she maybe thought you are lying lol... Since you were talking about that band so much (and havent even mentioned it on the list)... It looked in her eyes maybe like you want to impress her, have something in common with her :)...

When will be test, it wont be easy question like this one :), thou it will look like it is easy :)

Girls will spot any incongruities and this was one of them. Update your profile so it shows you DO like The Strokes then contact her again - steer it to another topic though mention you're updating your profile (DO NOT SAY WHY). If she challenges you again then she has a trust problem and it's possible you cannot recover.

i would say, just tell her, my life is rich enough that i need many profiles to fill it up about me, then just change the topic for another thing, then if u like you can back again to same topic later.

i dont recommend you change ur profile, like that you will enter to her frame
