Post subject:  Is it too late?

Hi guys,

Peter here, first time poster, a long time reader.

I am in a complicated situation of a sort(not even sure if I posted this in the right subforum), and I am not sure what to do.

The situation is as follows:

Six months ago, I met a HB7(I suppose) via Windows Live Messenger, my initial idea after a few lines of chat was to try and seduce her, but the was engaged at the time and I gave up on my idea to attempt anything after learning that.

We continued chatting, and her relationship ended three months ago.

A couple of months ago, I asked her to make me a costume for the annual New Year's costume party which is held at my university, and we met at her place: we spent three hours or so talking, I did the cocky/funny routine(which is my natural game, tbh), some DHV(although I am sure if it worked as she is a bit freakish and doesn't really appreciate widely accepted values) and some Kino. However, I did not attempt anything.

I left her place and phoned her up around thirty minutes later, saying that the friend who was supposed to go with me cannot make it and asked her if she would go with me. She seemed a bit hesitant, but she accepted.

Now, my question is: do you think there is any point in attempting to get her? I know that the mid-game I did on her was Ok on paper, but I am afraid that I could be hopelessly stuck in the friend zone as:

- She had a man when she met me so I guess that catapulted me into the friend zone straight away

- We chatted for six months before finally meeting

Myself, I think that there really isn't any purpose in attempting something; but if anyone of you disagrees, I would be more than happy to follow your advice

Please note that we are supposed to meet in around 40 hours from now, so any quick responses would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Peter

Its hard to tell if you are in the 'Friend Zone' but you could be.

When you go out try to hold hands and kiss her. If she says something like 'I just want to be friends' you better back off. Some guys would say to the girls 'I have enough female friends, etc.' but I think IMHO is better to give her some space and re-evaluate how you got into the friend zone in the first place and try not to repeat that mistake.

I try to take a girl out on a date as soon as possible. The more you talk to them without any kind of touching/kino, the more you fall into the friend-zone or the not-so-attractive-zone. And what you should have done would be to keep her distant from you when you found out she was engaged. Then when you found out she was in the singles market to start pursuing her.

You guys can still hang out in a group settings but keep your distance between her and you. When you do talk to her, look for IOIs and do the stare test and pay attention to her body language.

Good luck and start dating other woman.

Best,

J-Dub

thats the problem .. i usually meet the woman in a week or 2 , preferably as soon as possible because talking online is a different representation from what or who you really are.

people get used to see you talking online but when you've to meet them in real life your body language or voice tonality could be incongruent... Talking online FOR TOO LONG easily throws you in the friendship zone, girls won't make the second step to meet you ( first step is accepting/talking online ) you have to make the first step.

if she escalates easily on subjects like sex ( she continues about the convo when you've stopped about it or she plainly accept the subject ) and if she's keep asking things and giving IOI's you need to meet her in real life.
