Every once in a while we get a friend request from some really random person. There are no groups or friends in common with this person or any other reason for this person to friend us whatsoever. Likewise no message accompanies this request. The most likely scenario is that this person is a "Facebook friend whore." (or spam) Every once in a while these random people are HB8, 9, 10s. I'm wondering how everyone here handles this situation, i.e. ignore, pursue, etc. Also, for those who pursue what kind of openers do you use? I feel like this situation would be good for a C&F line. |

Respond just saying hi. and wait for her response. I've had a few of those friend whores as well and on 3 of them i tried this and 2 of them responded wich turned into dates wich both got k-closed. I never see them again but it was fun |

yeah theres alot of real females who just like adding a ton of people. Accept the request and they may comment you "thanks for the add". You gotta act soon though, some of the girls on my list eventually became models and it be hard to get comments from them now. lol. I got like over 5k people on my list, alot of cuties but i also accept dudes requests *its whatever i dont care lol* |

Accept Accept Accept I get random adds pretty frequently, and usually always end up either with a date or a good friend. As said above, just say "Hi" and wait for a reply. If I get a reply, I usually follow it with "Do I know you, Im really bad with name" then you can find out why they added you and play from there. |

Thanks! All really good advice. I like simplicity, I was definitely over thinking the situation. Next time this happens I'll try it out. |
