Ok - simple enough question. Would like to hear from anyone who has dealt with this. Got two girls' numbers online, both want to meet up. Problem is they both live 45 mins to an hr away from me (i live in a really congested area so the physical distance actually isn't that far). So I basically have no clue about venues out where these chicks live. What's better/what has worked. I know I should be taking charge here but it's hard to select a venue near the girl's place. make her meet me halfway or near where I live? |

Do some research on the area where these girls live. I just moved to a bigger city and theres 45 minute drives to girls I could possibly meet now. If your not sure what to do something I tried which was a drawing random things out of a hat. Get her to choose 5 things as well as you doing your own 5 selections. and of course not any old 5 things. Make her pick one really crazy thing and 2 normal things most dates would be ... then 2 other creative things you can come up with. I find a vast majority of online game requires tons of creativity and really every aspect of the game As for one of my really crazy 5 things. It was winter and snowy so I wrote strip down into our underclothes and have a snowball fight ... lol very risky but could work. This never got drawn but eventually she read all the ones I made. |

I've had success suggesting that they pick. Something like: "I know nothing about (where you live) so you pick where and I'll pick when." Which is logical since you have more of a time consideration if you are traveling. Say it off the bat, like early in the phone call and don't be wishey washey.. ever. I'd vote for this if you are going to her turf rather then trying to sound like you know what is where and what's good when you don't really. |

I had this exact problem, what I did was posting on a forum asking for suggestions, so if you have a relevant one (Nightlife, citylife, whaterever) use it. Keep in mind that if you ask her to pick a place you might have a hard time isolating. |

ok so my similar situation just came out.. girl who lives at least 45min to an hour away wants to meet up next weekend. I also dont have a job at the moment and will be going back to school at the end of the month so figured id get one date out of this , but i seriously dont want any flings while im in school *im 25 and goofed off during college in my younger years before so i never had finished, time to get serious and go back* . Girl lives in LA, luckily there should be tons of things to do, but i dont know much of the area, i think i might take her to diamond bar *if its not too far* cuz i know some places around there, shoot pool, eat , and shes asian so im sure she would get a kick out of checkin out the stores since its an asian community and i doubt shes ever been there etc. |
