I'm reading the MySpace Method as I often do, and if you receive a positive/hooked response the first time around, you're supposed to reward her with an IOI, naturally. Here's an example they give:

hey brat! you caught me online changing my profile.... the pic of me and my ex had to go! Yes, I love a good show... let me guess... you do too 
I have the "IOI reward" bolded. My question: How the hell is that an IOI? Just because you're saying you like something she happens to like? The "good show" is talking about concerts. 
It's a reward to say you like concerts because she does too? Anyway, I'm not using the responses directly from the book, but making my own with their guidelines. Was just curious why that's a big IOI.
