Hey all, I'm new here and this is my first post but I've read alot of the threads on here in the past and I've found a lot of useful tips but I'm in a position right now that I need some advice. Basically this girl sent me a message through facebook a few days ago and when I asked her if we knew each other she said we went to highschool and graduated together. Anyway, it's kind of a suprise to me and I can't recall seeing this girl ever but she's pretty cute and we've got some of the same friends. So after the typical, what are you up to these days/what do you do for work, she told me shes got an extreme personality and i asked whats the most extreme thing about her and she said 'spending a day with me is extreme lol idk i guess you'd have to ask my friends' I'm pretty sure she wants to meet up but I'm not so sure on how to go about asking... this is probably cake for some of you PUA's but i'm a total AFC tryin tto break out of my shell here. |

Say it's been forever since you've seen her, ask her to hang out either to get a cup of coffee or something you both find interest in. |

Oh ahahI'd personally challenge her "extremeness" and ask her to hang out and do something "extreme". Roller coasters maybe? Or be creative. |

yeah, i totally hear you. i don't wanna ask her out to a bar or something so cliche, but at the same time it'd be the "first date" so wouldn't it be awkward to ask her out to something like an amusement park ? ideas anyone? oh, also i just found out it's her 21st birthday on wednesday.. |

i used the extreme as a cup of coffee line and told her to show me herself (instead of asking her friends) and this is what i got "that's so cliche, coffee. the only problem i hate dates because there is so much pressure. maybe we could get some friends together and go paint balling? or now is the season huanted house or corn maze!" so, coffee wasn't extreme enough for her apparantly and i was told group dates are typically a bad call until you actually know each other. so im kinda stumped.. you guys got any advice? i just realized i don't even have a picture of myself on my facebook so it's prolly my looks she's afraid of.. should i remedy this before moving on? edit: after thinking about it, maybe ask her what she's afraid of...or would this be a time to use a neg? maybe neg cause she friend requested me and waited for me to send the first message?? |

Heya, just turn the situation around. She asked you to go paintballing with her and some friends, so you do that. But you need a benefit on it as well. Tell her an activity you want to do before-hand. For instance: "Hey, that seems cool. However, that does not say everything about you, so we need a chat-session before-hand." This is not really a line, but should give you a pointer to how you turn it around. - Exerio |
