Private messaging a girl on Facebook and, unfortunately, she seems to have lost her personality and responds to all my funny lines with the usual "do I know you?" etc. Her latest reply is "who are you?".. what would be a good, C&F reply to this? Thanks yous. |

ignore it and just say "what's your story?" the thing to do is turn it back to them don't answer the question. "why would you ask that?" "don't ask silly questions." "what is this?" "you're goofy." "i have to find out who you are" etc. |

heres a couple of things i've said before... ''your new best friend'' near enough everytime she'll laugh and have a positive attitude about you ''i don't know anymore after looking into those beautiful eyes'' (gazing into her eyes) ''er im, er..... pause.(looking at her) sorry, i lost my concentration for a minute.'' with a smile on. this several versions on this though but usually this makes them aww with the right body language |

ignoring the "who are you" question has never worked out well for me. I like Alpha Lion's proposal. |

can we come to the conclusion that them actually messaging you with "who are you?" or "do i know you?" is actually a IOI? Ive once had a date with a girl from myspace, just randomly added her, she was local, i added her, she messages me girl: "do i know you?" me: "oh was jus addin locals thought id make some friends". girl: "oh cool we should hang out some time".. if you go to school, even better , say something like "oh thought id add some locals, since you go to school near me" blah blah something like that, this was in 06 and what was to be a lunch date became dinner and a movie *tho i didnt get any lol*. I didnt stick my moves back than but still. |

This is one I've done on facebook... She was already taken (which I found out after she added me, info was blocked). HB7 "Do I know you?" PUA "Nope!" HB7 "...oh, lol. okay." PUA "lmao bet u didnt expect that at all" HB7 "hahaha. not exactly. but its all good." I just ended it there. I know I coulda done something because I am a good looking guy, but whatever. I always use that comment. Oh, and if they do it on my wall, I don't respond "Nope!" onto her wall, I put a COMMENT on her post on my wall, that way everyone that goes to my profile can see that I did that haha. Conveys my "I don't care much but you're cute but who cares" attitude lol. |

Here's the deal with this. If a girl takes the time to message you asking if she knows you. It means she thinks you're cute. If she didn't know you and didn't have any interest, she would never except the request or she would accept but not make any contact. Now, "do I know you?" is her way of figuring out what your intentions are in your request. Is it because you know one of her friends and they told you to look her up? Is it because you were searching, saw her pic and randomly added her because you think she's cute. Or is it because you just collect random girls and are a socially inept. This is basically a screening process for her. My best results are to be direct. Here are a few I've used to the "do I know you?" -No, Facebook suggested we be friends. I can't argue with that logic. -Nope. We should. But you haven't had the pleasure yet. -Well, I thought we did, but after a little creeping. We're strangers... Sadly. We should should really do something about that. -No, but by all means feel free to introduce yourself. -I doubt it. To "who are you?" you may try... -Well if you'll look up to your left, just beside my photo there, you'll find my name. There's an info section on my page as well. -I keep trying to figure that out too. -An extrovert. -Not sure if serious question or philosophical quandary... hmmm. Just have fun with it. And remember. She's messaging you because she's interested. |
