Just added an old friend from high school, who I haven't spoken to since (I've been out 4 years now). Is it better in general to post on her wall or by sending a private message? |

It depends. If the topic is intimate (we should meet blabla) then definitely a message. but since you just added her maybe a better approach is to comment on her wall with something other than "hi". That's just AFC. You have to make it something fun but not quite like the lines in this forum, those are for private messages. Then transition to gaming her via messages. |

I sent her a private message at the suggestiuon of several female friends saying, "I was out to dinner with a friend tonight who told me he spoke to you by saying, "I know (my name)," (which is true). Glad to see I left such a lasting impression on your life." She replied, "haha...I actually said I know your entire family..lol." Sort of short and cold but at teh same time, I didn't really ask her any questions so it's possible she didn't think to say anything beyond the responding to my open. Should I bother responding and if so what do I say? |

she sounds like a nice girl maby just have a pleasent normal conversation since you havent seen her in years you could probably get away with we should get together tuesday and have coffee for old times sake or to catch up w/e but make sure to drop a lil sensual enargy in there to leave you open in her mind as o im meeting this guy from high school not o im meeting an old friend |

She goes to school 4 hours away, so there are no immediate meetups in the near future. I'm simply trying to plant the seeds for later. What should I say to combat the last short response she gave? |

If I was you, I'd start out with public posting. The reasons behind these are: 1. She might have forgotten about you 2. It makes you look like a stalker Well, she is reeling you in with her neg "I know your entire family." I just started the PUA idea but since she negged you out, Mystery & Style would suggest you neg her back.. You can't "walk away" cause it's online and it seems like you are ignoring her. You could respond with "Are you sure? When is my so-and-so birthday?" |

The best re-neg I've come up with would be something along the lines of: "Ouch. I can't remember if you were always this cold or if this is something you picked up in Australia (she studied abroad for a year)?" Thoughts? I'm really not good at negging so I have no idea if this is any good. |
