Yeah, a copy of the conversation would help a lot so the "funny line(s)" can fit what you guys have already said. |

choose a comedian (Seinfeld, Carlin, Chris Rock or whatever works for you) add the word "quotes", then google away. |

why won't you show us the full convo??? anyway... say somethings C&F like: "You can keep being cold, but I know that deep down, you love me." or maybe a variation of "Your a teacher?! oh.. This relationship just isn't going to work... I know your kind... you are always angry if someone is late even for less than a minute" and don't send her more than one message at a time. |

Alright heres what she said. Remember I am new. what! talk about being angry if some is a little late in responding to emails... actually, i'm a couple minutes late to a class at least once a day, and i don't record the tardies of my students because it cramps my style. if they're a tad late and they come in in a non-disruptive way, it's fine by me. |

lol, nubby, I hope you don't send her as much as emails you post here (means more than one per answer) cuz that will kill you game ! And that's a very good respond that you got from her... she have just qualified her self to you that is awesome ! Anyway you're still in A2 cuz I see no IOI (or maybe just one for qualifying) you can Push & Pull, you can tell her a DHV(cool story telling; DHV=Demonstration of Higher Value) story which can be done by letting her know about your good qualities via stories or continuing being Cocky&funny. However after her qualifying herself like this you should say you like that about her "Wow, you're really into me aren't you? Hope you don't just say that because I really like these qualities about a person! I remember having only one teacher like this and he was my favorite; always understanding and loving. So what do you like to do besides teaching?" This is the structure of my reply "C&F + saying you like her personality (that's very important after qualifying) + continuing to qualify her. I know it's a little weird I attract, not waiting for an IOI and qualify at the same message but I think you should do more than one thing in messages cuz it's take time to get an answer and you can't see her reactions, however if someone think I did something wrong here I would like to know and learn. P.S That is my style and I think you should understand the structure and write it in your own words. Best of luck! |

Alright guys here is what she said. "I may be understanding and loving, but I have VERY solid academic expectations. I really push them in critical thinking. They get really excited if I tell them 'good word!' when they pick the perfect word to describe the situation. I am rarely effusive with praise, support yes, but praise no. That way they know I really mean it--building self-esteem through accomplishment. I'm not very understanding about late work unless there is a very good reason. What do you think. |
