So here’s the deal. I volunteer at my university’s strength and conditioning center. I’m basically in charge of being the nutrition coach (since that is one my majors). So I was working on a guidelines sheet for the athletes yesterday in the strength coach’s office and this beautiful girl walked by I hadn’t seen before. I saved my stuff first because I had been working on it for a while and I go out to the gym floor, but by that time she's gone. I asked my friend who she was and he said he didn’t know, but he knew she was a diver. I asked the strength coach and he said he has never seen her before. So with the thought of diver in mind, I decided to just go on the university’s website to see if she was on the roster. Easy enough to find because she was the only diver on the swim team. Now that I have her name, I look to see if she has a profile on facebook to see if she is worth pursuing. She does, but her profile is private. Now here is the dilemma. What exactly can I write in a message to her on there to generate a conversation without looking like a creep? Like I said the strength coach has never seen her before and he conditions every team. She also just graduated (from the short bio it had of her on the roster page) so its unlikely she will be in there again any time soon. All I know about her (again from the short bio) is that her favorite movie is Anchorman and her major is advertising. I'm new to the game so any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
