Ok, I'm pretty new to this, but have had pretty good luck. I set up a profile on pof, and made it really short and I basically sound like a complete asshole on it. (I shamelessly took the idea from someones post on here about a year ago). Anyway, off to the convo. My biggest struggle is going from online to a number or meeting up. I always turn AFC. Me: Hey dude, that chick in your mirror is gorgeous, how about you hook us up? HB8: you're somewhat original, I gotta give you that. but I'm not into "selfish pricks", sorry. =] Me: If you say so.. But what if I told you a sweet old lady told me I was "such a gentleman" today when I rescued her from a burning building? HB8: haha. original AND persistent. luckily for us both, I'm very honest. So... we can pretend I don't hate selfish pricks, you can pretend you didn't write it on your profile, and we can actually meet up sometime. Just so we can remember that yes, i hate selfish pricks and that you did write that on your profile. fine by me, as long as you choose a nice bar. so feel free to message me. ** at this point I didnt write anything back, and about 12 hours later I get the following message from here.. HB8: your smile looks nice though (what i can see of it), I gotta give you that. Not sure exactly how to proceed. Thanks guys! |
