So i'm chatting up this girl and everything seems to be going great. She is replying with enthusiasm and IOIs. eg: "Where did you get so funny you have to teach me" "Ive been waiting to meet you. Boy with personaility. Ive neevr felt so intrigued by someone" So, clearly she's interested. Butwhen I asked her for her number twice now and this last time she just didn't reply. How can I get this moving again and what do I need to correct? |

Right, well thanks for the vote of confidence my friend. I don't really want to go the party route with this girl though. I need to work on my sober game and I don't do bars sober. It seems since both times i've asked for the number and she's completely ignored it, persisting may not be the best idea. Maybe I need to build some more comfort? If so, then what might be a good line? What do you guys think? |

number might be too forward... BUT, texting is not! Great way to get the number is to say you have to text her. How much time elapsed here? I'm not sure if you can recover from asking for a number twice, it shows a bit of social ineptitude (don't take offense, it's a learning experience) Interestingly, all of the women I have number closed on the internet, I have NEVER asked. They just gave it to me and told me to "text" them... If they're ready they'll give it to you. |

Confused, I don't see why she wouldn't reply to any of that, just maybe she hasn't read the message yet, it's a possibility. You wrote some good stuff there and I even laughed a few times, lets drive forward into qualification now. You'll need to time bridge effectively to get her number, your doing something and u'd like her to join, even if she doesn't your going anyway. |

Ok, great tips here guys. Smartass, I like what you said there about the women just handing numbers over when they've ready. About a week has elapsed now so I'd say i've waited long enough till I can send her another message. And yes she has read it. I don't think the idea here is to invite her out again, but get her more comfortable with me before things progress further. So far the conversation has been really just joking around. So does anyone have an idea on what I could say to get teh conversation rolling again. I'd assume I probably wanna call her on the lack of response and tease her on it a bit and then just jump right back into conversation |
