So one day, after class, I number-closed a HB7. We texted a bit that afternoon and we ran into each other at a local coffee shop. She was with some friends, and my friends had a specific plan, and being that they were my ride for the night, I couldn't really stay behind. Her and I parted ways, though I invited her to come with to 'The Top of the World' which is basically a nearby place that's essentially just like those cliched lookouts in teen movies that never seem to exist in real life. The place where you can see the stars and the lights of the city.
This was a while ago (also before I got into any kind of pick up), so I'll try to remember. TBH I was using her as a guinea pig.
KN: Hey, you should have come with us. It's beautiful.
HB: I know! But my friends would have gotten mad
KN: We could have had plenty of fun
HB: I'm sure we would
KN: Yea, like some casual sex on the car's hood!
HB: Hmm, doesn't sound all that casual
KN: Eh, maybe not normal, but that's just what makes it better
HB: Oh, is that how it works?
Conversation kinda carried on like that for a while. I hadn't talked to her before that day, and more surprisingly, I haven't really talked to her since.
