hey there everyone, I decided to try this online dating stuff and finally got up the courage to email some girls. Mostly I used a C&F opener getting surprisingly positive results. some responses I got: "ty for a non-boring email!" "wow I'm very impressed!" "that's a great way of getting my attention, I like you!" ...now I thought the hard part was over lol, don't know what to say and how to say. keep up the CF attitude? I got their attention... now how do I keep it? |

What was the line you used? Because some times I will follow up with a reply that connects or goes along with the opener I used. But it sounds like from just reading your only post that your using an opener that does not lead to a conversation, but stop dead. |

thanks for the reply. I modified an opener I saw on here. ME: "you didn't have me fooled for a second there!!  "HB's: "...what??" or "...what do u mean?" etc. ME: "...I'm not falling for that laid back girl thing! Not with an adorable yet deadly smile like that. you get your way a lot with that smile don't you? So what can you tell me about yourself that your pictures can't?" So they tell me a little about themselves then. I just don't wanna resort back to boring small talk right away. |

Ask them a question about what they said about themselves. All you really need to do is make the conversation fun and interesting. There is nothing wrong with using small talk as long as it is fun and interesting. Hell when you talk to girls in real life, most of the time you are using small talk anyway. |
