| Post subject: | Tips on my Profile |
First time post here and thought I would give it a try. This is my profile from Match.... com Headline: I'm either a forgery or a damn clever original About Me: Not really into talking about myself all that much as i'm here to meet others, not date myself. I decided on a check list as maybe that will just cut to the chase a bit quicker. Normal - Check Has a job - Check Has all limbs and no disfiguring marks - Check Funny - Self proclaimed but, Check Has full adult set of teeth - Check Lives in home w/o wheels - Check No Drama - Check and Check If that doesn't instantly scream top 3 profiles you have read, then you have no sense of humor. for fun: I'm a real easy going person, always up for anything. Camping, Biking, Competitive synchronized movie watching. I do it all! What I really need is a vacation. So you must like traveling! my job: I own a few Drug and Alcohol testing facilities around Michigan. I primarily do testing for the judicial system both district and circuit court. I own a substance abuse counseling company as well. my ethnicity: Does cute count for ethnicities? my religion: Not too big on religions. It's cool if you are, it's just not my thing. Can't say for certain it will always be that way but for right now it is. favorite hot spots: For dining, any place that doesn't have a dollar menu. I'm not into sitting in coffee shops all day trying to look like I'm doing something important. I'd rather be doing something outdoors or weekend road trips. favorite things: Favorite thing to eat would have to be anything, breakfast. It really should be an all day thing. I'm sort of in a nerd stage with TV. So unless you like Astronomy or History you might not want to watch TV with me. last read: I'm not going to lie. I'm Not much of a book connaisseur. I think I might have ADD, I can't sit and read knowing I could be doing something mildly entertaining. If you really must know. I read "The Secret" last. Positive thinking 101.... Is this too much humor? I suffer from the not so rare disease of not knowing when to shut my smart ass mouth up. Please judge fairly though. |

Started talking with a hottie!!!!!!!!!! Bs'ed a bit. Normal first response type shit. yeah my first time too, I find it very wierd but if nothing works out from it it will make for interesting conversation one day! It's hard to meet people as you get older because no one is hanging out in groups of like twenty people like in high school and college! Plus when you get older you get pickier and I also thought being single would be fun because I had never really been single for while but than I found out it's hard to meet someone normal! My weekend was all right went to a comedy show on Saturday and then to Boscos in Ferndale (the comedy show wasn't too funny!) then on Sunday I went out with some friends from high school to dinner and then for a drink in Birimingham... ran errands all weekend.. blah.. blah boring stuff, nothing to interesting! How about you? to which I am about to reply Well you certainly summed up my feelings. I thought dating would be easier when you get older. But it seems just the opposite, especially here in Michigan. I feel like I’m in a Duece Bigalow movie. I was thinking I was going to end up talking with a woman with a peg-leg, eye patch, who suffers from Tourette’s. Wait, you don’t have a peg-leg do you? So you were always a “long term relationship” type person as well? I never got into that nonsense of jumping around either and trying to be this hot shot “player”. I look at my friends now who were like that and have the most screwed up relationships because they never learned how act properly. I was raised better then that anyhow… Soooooooo. My weekend… Friday I met up with some friends I hadn’t seen for a while, which after a few hours I was reminded why I hadn’t seen them. We went to The Post bar in Novi. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I really wasn’t having that great of a time. So I ended up talking with a few cops I used to work with that were hanging outside for most of the night, while attempting to hide from this overly drunk girl that doesn’t understand the concept of “get away”. Saturday, I stayed home and had a nice relaxing night while being viciously attacked by my new baby kittens. Well my new possibly peg-legged friend. I’m leaving my office to go buy my rascals a new toy and relax at home. Talk to you soon. |
