Post subject:  Critique these myspace openers...
Ok so I'm really not taking this myspace shit seriously. If anything its just a way for me to work on my smart ass remarks. Maybe as I get more and more creative typing them, I will eventually get better at coming up with them off the top of my head. And hell, if I get laid by some random myspace chick, just a bonus. Ok so these are my first 3 myspace openers. (God hitting on girls online makes me feel like a tool. :lol: )

Opener #1: (This girl is hot as nuts. It even says on her profile, "just realize i get like 50 messages a day, so ill get back to you when i can".)

-"so you get 50 messages a day just because you are hot or whatever? :-) you have anything else going for you? (there are beautiful girls everywhere...) "


Opener #2: (This girl was pretty cute, but not near what the first one was. Her profile was pretty normal looking. I noticed her Education section said she had been to high school at like 3 different places spanning over 10 years. I know it was a typo or mistake, but I decided to open concentration on this.)

Opener #3: (This girl had a really dark profile with skulls and shit. Lot of rock band stuff. Yet her picture was a cute, almost prissy looking blonde girl. I might been too much of a dick here, but fuck it. Its a learning period)

Ok so they didnt go so well. Girl #1, the extreme hottie, read it but never answered. Perhaps I should have been more creative since she most likely gets a lot of messages every day, like she said. Girl #2 replied with her explanation of the high school thing. She seemed kind of pissed that I called her out on it. Not in a funny way either. I replied to that, but got nothing back. Girl #3 whom I made the sex and the city joke to, replied with "Excuse me?". The joke went right over her head, and she didnt talk to me anymore.

So being a random dickhead right from the start is really the way to go?

I think the last one is good. The other are kind of boring an don't give them much to work with. When i test openers, i send the same one to at least 10 girls.

I've had success with the 'beauty is comon' type one but it depends how you word it. Be more specific with it. Give her something to work with and she doesn't cooperate, tease her.

If they replay in a pissy or uninterested way, i laugh at them and say how i love it when ppl act like that that its so funny/cute/w.e. they usualy reply back with a sorry or they start trying to prove themself to me and start talking how i wanted them to innitialy. :lol:

Remember theres no opener that gets 100% success every time so you have to send to/test on more then one girl.

I love that the one girl feels the need to tell everyone how many messages she gets, I wouldn't even bother.

She either has too active of a social life to worry about meeting guys from online, or has some kind of psychological disorder. For all you know it could be some loser trying to live vicariously through a fake profile.

If she is really getting that many messages, the guys are probably either loading her down with compliments, or putting way too much thought into thinking up some kind of magical phrase that will make her want to talk to them. Either way she is probably just reading them when shes bored, using them as her daily dose of self-esteem and then dismissing them.

If I WERE to send this girl anything, I would just keep it really short and not invest very much into it at all... OR I might be curious to ask if she really encounters that many needy guys that she feels the need to put that out there that it may take her a while to respond.
