I got this woman's e-mail adress from my friend.She is a very famous actress.She is gorgeus and she is 46 years old.My friend called her and asked if he could give her adress to me,so she already knows that i will write her. This is what I am planning to write: Hello (her name), I took your e-mail adress from my friend (his name). I would like to meet you. I am nothing but a student who sits all day and pretending to be intellectual.The good side is that I can go out on a Monday night:) So,here is the deal.Let's have a drink and learn about each other. Cheers, (My name) So,does this have any chance? Is it too AFC? and should I attach my pic to this e-mail?What would you write if you were in my shoes? Thanks guys, |

Wow. No offense, but that was lame. If she really is a celeb, you failed spectacularly. How about instead you respond with a sentence or two to get her interested in you and responding to you? Oh, and don't say how you got her email. It comes off sounding like you're qualifying yourself to her. |

well i am not really qualifying- just letting her know i am not a total stranger.but you re right-i can see it is lame and goes nowhere! I think whatever you write,e-mailing a celeb is Low Value.I should meet her in her social circle. |

As you are dealing with a person that is a celebrity not some random chick. And who knows how many people try and get in "touch" with them. Saying that you got it from some they know will make the celebrity feel safe enough that your not some creep or something.Quote: I should meet her in her social circle.
