I was randomly browsing a list of some people in my network and saw this cute musician girl with a perfect body who would definitely be an HB10 by my standards. So I poked her. A day later (maybe two days?) she poked me back and I sent her that message that everyone else sends: CT: Hey, you know it's not safe to poke strangers! I guess your parents didn't teach you that! HB: is toooo are you doing lovefest maybe you should just text me XXX YYY ZZZZ !!! CT: You gave me your number already? Wow, you're very forward! I don't even know yet whether or not you're a creeper or if that's a trick phone number that will make my phone grow horns and run away. I'll tell you this though: I might be close to the lovefest area cause my friends and I are going to some of the clothing stores to upgrade our 'fits. If you get a text from XXX-YYY-ZZZ, that will be me asking for clues or riddles, or maybe a "do I sound fat in this?" Tell me how the 'fest is anyway because I might check it out later. // That was yesterday. Right after I sent that I had a feeling that my message might have been a bit too long or too weird (I talk like that in person all the time and people laugh, but I can imagine that talking style could seem weird to someone who's never heard my voice). She hasn't replied since then...did I weird her out, or is she just lazy and I'm over analyzing? And I'm also curious as to why she gave me her number after only one message. Maybe it's because some of my pictures have multiple people in them and thus I came off as less of a weirdo. |

yesterday? Damn, settle down. Not everyone is on the computer 24/7 like you.  If you dont hear back tomorrow afternoon, send a (short) follow up statement to pique her interest. Like, "I bet d sharp sounds better than d flat. I should be a musician." |

IMO that sort of sounds a tad weird, following up.Play it cool, and message her after a week, pretending you forgot about her.. then say "Hey you look familiar, have we met?" and she'll be like "I gave you my number before?" Basically, this shows that you have a life outside of her. My advice is to live that life outside of her, if after you try again you fail. Hope that helps my friend! |

Glad my opener got you a number close so quickly but you should have sent her a funny txt instead of writing her. |
