my 2c. you want to listen to what they say and adjust accordingly while not losing your frame. so she was confused? why? whats wrong?
and washing old people is not cute, washing little puppies is. suggesting that she has a sexual interest in them is just a turn off and seems forced. imagine yourself bedding your grannie ... got it? is that arousing? does it make you feel good? guess not. from my experience, try not to hard to be interesting, be interested instead and if you find things during the convo that are funny then drop a comment on it, but do not force it.

Then again, the hell's her problem? You didn't deserve that...

she apologised for being in a bad mood, it happens, your entire perception on reality changes, this is why saying 'look on the bright side' is rarely affective:P

You probably touched a nerve (this is just her personally and doesn't apply to the next 5 girls you meet or beyond) she might have cared about it, or resented it, or gets slagged about it alot.

Or maybe she's just trying to take her anger out on someone, throwing a big drama moment for some attention. Loads of people do that, this is called 'not being grown up', avoid people like this they'll drain the life outta you!

From my personal experience anyway...

Women are emotional, its how they communicate, talking pure simple logic to a girl isn't going to help.

HAVE to say that, that's a bitch of a trap! NEVER try to assist a woman, you can listen if you want (be a good person and all) but the whole "I want to fix stuff" is a man thing, not a woman thing..... Women just love to complain:P
