Post subject:  Guys avoid the AdultFriendFinder site,as it's a scam

I'm not sure if this has been covered here before, but granted you're not really sarging or really using admirable online game techniques discussed in this great online sarging board here, but if joining the US based site
AdultFriendFinder, although it probably may have a very small share of real hot women on it in your city (that you'd have to be initally very suspicious about), it's essentially a notorious haven for webcam site scams, charging a service for your membership to their off-site webcam website. They're probably not even a real person (or if they are, it's a guy pretending to be a chick), but an automated bot with a fake female profile and photo to scam you. Plus it still keeps up the profiles of
ex members, who won't even get any message sent to them.

The idea of women using fake online profile photos is nothing new of course, but this site (that's now owned by Penthouse) is unique in that it seems to actually take part in creating fake female profiles (whether they have face shots in them, or the photo/s are body shots that are headless) of chicks, who are meant to live in your city, who could probably pass as a Penthouse model (so why would they have to join an online FWB site for, when they'd be hit on in real life). It's surprising no one in the US has taken legal action against them.

If any male or even female forum members here want to get some female or male tail and join this mostly crap site, then in the day time and at night, see who's in the 'members that are online now' section in your city, which should tell you that that person really exists (if it's one you're keen on), but it doesn't necessarily mean they may have real photos of themselves (if they even have any) in their profile. If you're interested
in a lady and never once see them in the 'members that are online now' section of this site, that should easily tell you they don't even exist an their profile is fake.

I think anyone that has been on the internet long enough would know about that site and its clones, and to stay away from such sites.

i've created a profile on there a couple of times back a few years back. made one with my girlfriend at the time to look for a 3rd party to join us...

didn't get anything but spam and gay sex comeons.. no matter what we put we were looking for in our profiles

i stick to OkCupid and myspace (it's free and socially "acceptable" to be a member)

There's also Facebook, and Plenty of Fish. As well as other social networking sites out there to use.

Great tip
I remember when using gumtree classified ads and there were loads of fake profiles redirecting guys to adult friend finder (and their sister site alt.com or whatever its called).
And you have to pay just to check out the pics and search.

I would'nt pay to use any dating site, they're all same.

I've been on AFF a few times. The most trustworthy people are on the blogs. When I was blogged on there I was quite well respected and had quite a lot of chats with real people. I was friends with a female in the US who met loads of men, so it's clearly possible. Although she was a wiley cougar whose pics didnt show the real picture as I discovered on cam once....and never again haha.

It's probably not much use for PUA as blogging takes a lot of time to build up interested readers and for instance the number of active female blogs in the whole of the UK is probably less than 30. However I knew a guy that blogged naturally in a cocky/funny style and he had a huge following. The most read male bloggers all had very distinctive styles. You have to spend a lot of time commenting on other people's blogs. Guys blogs too cos that's where all the female bloggers hang out obviously lol and having guy readers gives a air of respectability. Paying helps with blogging as you can find out where you've been quoted which is pretty useful but you should consider this an extremely long game and more of an interesting diversion. although there are meet and greets amongst the bloggers and some site groups where you'd have opportunity to run your outside game with the added bonus of being amongst people who are more into friends with benefits than perhaps a section of random population and if you're already respected before you turn up and introduce yourself, ya gotta be halfway there already.

If you looking for instant results this aint the place. If you into a longer challenge give it a go.

Greg007 thanks for posting this!

I was about to start my own thread about AFAF. I too was suspicious why some hot women would join such as site as well.

There have been some high profile media coverage of hot "career nyphos" who claimed to be independent hard working women by day (with model good looks) and claimed to have slept with 500 men a week on such sites.
Clever viral marketing or part of the wider scam?

Having said that a lot of magazines (including womens) have such websites advertised in their back pages- Im not suprised that "advertising revenue" comes into it maybe?
