Post subject:  The Mirror Opener (Golden!)
Yet ANOTHER opener from Diggidoyo. Rep if you like. I've learned alot from the community so I don't keep gems to myself. I post them here for all.

You may remember me from the the Titanic Opener not-another-myspace-thread-tested-opener-inside-vt18995, and I thought that one was great and I've used it a lot. However, I believe I have topped myself with this one. First, the opener, then the breakdown.

Subject: Hey punk
Message: dude, that chick in your mirror is beautiful. can you hook me up?

I've tested it numerous times and the above version gets the best results. The "hey punk" line is my subject of choice. We just need the target to open the damn message instead of instantly deleting it. That line tends to work the best for me.
As for the message, yes I say dude and yes I say chick. You will get one of three responses.

1. Who are you? Do I know you? etc, etc, etc

We are all familiar with these. You can press on if you want but I usually just ignore it.

2. Aww thanks. (sometimes they'll ask a question ex: "so what's up?).

You've now opened. They've taken it as a direct opener so treat it as such. Sarge on!

3. loll!! hmmm i might be able to do that ;]
AND
since its me... i guess i got connections for you lol
OR
anything else to that effect.

I love these. Now you are roleplaying. She's accepted a frame where she is now in third person. My next message to her is "Shweet! Tell her, um, she has [your choice]" You can go with amazing sense of style or something if you want to stay away from her looks, but I usually stay on the direct route and say "tell her she has gorgeous eyes and sexy lips."
Then, finish it off with this line, "OH! but don't say it was from me"

Now, if she responds with ANY message that refers to herself in the third person, such as "haha! she says thanks", mission complete. Cut the thread by saying "You're fun. [Transition of choice]". Once again take whatever route you want. You can say, glad to see you got something else going for you besides your looks, etc. As for me, I choose Cajun's line with "You're fun. I'm adopting you as my new little sister."

That's as far as I'm explaining it because if you've reached this part you're well off the opener and into a convo! Good luck mates!

I just used it the last two days while I was working and here is one of the responses from I'd say a hb 7.5-8.

"that was the best line ive ever been sent hey i think your hot too lets talk im not on here much because i keep running into crazy men so you can hit me up on yahoo im xxxxxxxxx@yahooxxxx or i have a myspace you can get me on that well dont be a stranger now.. lets talk"

Unfortunately this line is not too good for the ditzy ones. I had one that couldn't figure out it was HER mirror. It's all good though I just reversed it back to her and said she failed the test and I'd have to break up with her. I'm waiting on a response but I'm about 90% sure I'll # close that one. She is an 8.5.

Nice! So far I've been browsing and using it on girls that actually have pictures of themselves in mirrors (which is very common. Even I have one). I'll try using on ones that don't even have that or are private. See if I get the same results.

Well asking if she's for hire makes it sound a little like an escort service (to me) try just rewording "Well since you are hooked up with 2 guys already I guess I'll make an appointment, I'll book every Wednesday and Saturday then I'll take 2 Sundays a month, the other guys can share the other 2" something like that perhaps.

# and !closed the ditzy one. Second "outing". I really didn't try to isolate us and invited her to parties and honestly let my buddies have a go at it but they bombed cause she came for me. I'll keep her in the rotation cause she is local. She was actually a 9+ physically but her personality pulled her down to like a 7 it was that bad.

Hey Digg,

I love it! Were you using it mainly as a cold opener for online dating?

I think it's a perfect way to contact a girl after you've gotten her number as well. Via text message or email if you get that.

It's very clever and if she's already met you and doesn't respond to that then it's dead. Thanks for the gem man!
