I use Facebook frequently for networking and seduction and to the best of my knowledge you cannot get your account disabled for overchatting however I am rather intrigued - could someone have reported you for something?

Well I recieved a warning when I was sending messages "Hi, Our systems indicate that you've been misusing certain features on the site. This email serves as a warning. Misuse of Facebook's features or violating Facebook's terms of use may result in your account being disabled . Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact warning@facebook.com from your login email address. The Facebook Team" Then today I recieved this "Hi, Your account has been disabled for persistent misuse of the site. Please contact disabled@facebook.com for more information. The Facebook Team" |

I dont like IM on MSN but I do prefer sending messages back on fourth on facebook. I dont use any features other then messaging. |

I really doubt that. All the conversations are two sided. Its not me stalking anyone! lol This is kind of lame, I have lived in over 8 countries and I have met a lot of people. This was really my only connection to all of them. Hopefully they will enable me. |

They could be running maintenance on your profile like they do over myspace. Facebook is much larger now, so I assume they have to clean house every now and than. |

Its 100% from over messaging. I wrote facebook a message telling them that I would limit my communications with my friends. Hopefully they will lift the ban. I dont want to start from scratch and find my old friends once again. |

That's nuts...thats exactly what it's for right? I mean I guess it's probably in the contract somewhere that you're not supposed to send a large amount of messages but seriuosly...unless you're sending 1000/day I don't see why they would single you out...pretty lame if you ask me. |

I was thinking you were a once a week facebook checker! That really blows that you lost your account though. There may be a quick way to regain all of your friends though. One is the People You May Know App. It tends to find people with mutual friends. So you can quickly regain a lot of friends through that once you have reacquired a few of the ones you lost. |

To be honest mate, I think I have mastered facebook game. Out of every convo I can easily get a number and a date close. I have never met anyone of the girls but they still keep on texting. There is a couple of girls that I may date this weekend. Now that I am done with exams I can start real life sarging! I know a lot of people are not fond of online game, but it really helped to develop my character. There were a few which I didnt have time to close but I remember their names and can always start up a new account and add them. I am an admin of a political group and I may use that to explain what happened. Its just going to be a pain in the ass. I just didnt know that I would get banned for networking on a networking site. |

Hi Usman, Facebook has limits in place to prevent behavior that other users may find annoying or abusive. These limits restrict the rate at which you can use certain features on the site, including the message feature. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with the specific rates that have been deemed abusive. Your account was disabled because you exceeded Facebook's limits on multiple occasions, despite having been warned to slow down. However, after reviewing your situation, we have reconfirmed your account and you should now be able to access it again. Please be aware that if your account is disabled again, we will not be able to reactivate it. While using the message feature, keep in mind that it's possible to run into a block based on how many messages you send and how fast you send them. It's also possible to be blocked when either starting a new message thread or replying to a message. Also, deleting old messages will not allow you to send more messages. Lastly, please keep in mind that it is a violation of Facebook's Terms of Use to harass users on the site, whether through unsolicited messages, friend requests, pokes or other features. When you are allowed to resume using the message feature, please proceed with caution to avoid hitting the limit again. Let me know if you have further questions.
