I'm trying to close this girl even as I type this. But here was my last message and hers.

Me:I'm the most interesting person you'll ever meet. But I'm not entirely sold on you yet. I don't know if i'm quite to the point of asking for your number. ;)

HB9:What make you so interesting? I have met a lot of interesting people. Like my stylist who does hair for rockstars on the warped tour and other tours. Or anyone of the members of the over 25 bands I have hung out with.

man, you put yourself in a position where you had to qualify yourself, your the prize you dnt have to say your interesting...you have to show that through you stroies and routines. i would have said some thing like...

hmmm im not so sold on you yet...i was going to ask for your number but im not sure we'd get on.

she will ask y is that (if shes interested)

i reply...well are you as interesting as you look?

then go into 3traits

Yeah as soon as I posted the second time it clicked as to what to say. I said something along the lines of "Yeah I know some people that play in bands too. But the people I know doesn't make ME interesting. What makes ME interesting is my hobbies, skills, and outlook on life."

She right away backtracked and began trying to requalify. It was pretty funny.

Oh just to finally end this thread. I did a false take away with her by saying some thing about logging off and a minute later number closed.

Post subject:  Stuck here

Here where am I with my second attempt and I'm not sure where to take it...

----------------

Me: Hey you know it's not safe to poke strangers! I guess your parents never taught you that!

HB9: No they didnt...but hey I guess you weren't taught that either bc I think you poked me first..what kind of parents do we have?

Me: I think we have fun parents since they taught us that poking strangers is kind of risky but taking a risk is the only way to have adventure ;)

I can already tell you're trouble =)

HB9: Haha yeah I guess I kinda am trouble..but so are you

Me: Me? Trouble? Never! I like to think of myself more as danger, or excitment. Besides trouble is your name...we already established that =)

Tell me three qualities about yourself that sets you apart from everyone else, other then just your looks. Then maybe you'll be more than just trouble to me =)

HB9: I have a feeling that you are trouble after all..to me danger=trouble lol. But three qualities...well I find that it is a quality that I can cook/bake I love that (especially my mac and cheese), I can put my hair up with out a hair tie (I don't know if this is a quality but it becomes convenient sometimes), and I'm smarter than I look...fascinating I know. what are some of your qualities?

--------------------------------

So it's my turn to say something but I'm not sure what direction to take it...any ideas?

You know... its really interesting that you said that. When I meet new people I always look for three qualities: 1) Energy 2) Personality and 3) Outlook. From what I can tell you have at least 2/3. Looks like you're off to a good start, Trouble.

Then you say your qualities

I am sure some people will obviously give you different inputs, but I have used this at least 20x and always had a good reply from it.

Just curious since I'm still new to this...what am I trying to evoke from her as a response. Obviously saying she has 2/3 is designed to get her to ask what shes missing or say something regarding that. So what exactly is the goal here, or better put, since you've done this 20x what do you typically get as a response or what should I expect/how should I prepare and where do I take it?

Thanks for the help,

I always calibrate. I prefer saying "You sound like you have 2/3 if not all.

I posted a thread in the newbie section asking for tips for my reply, but I have had a lot of success with what I say and I didnt see a need to change it.

This is what I say word for word

"When I meet new people I always look for personality, energy and outlook. You seem like you have at least 2/3 if not all!

One of my passions is music, but I have decided not to pursue that as a career choice. I have great energy, a unique sense of humour and I love adventures. "

They either ask about music or adventures. I have a DHV story that I use for either one. Adventure is something that girls love to talk about.

What I do before I make her qualify is say "You're pretty too bad we would never get along. We are just way too similar. We would probably fight and I would always win there is just no fun in that"

They would reply

1) Who says I would let you win
A trouble maker huh? Its soo sweet how you think you can take me! So tell me three things about...

2) What makes you think that we are similar?
Alright then... tell me three things about yourself...

I would love to go over my facebook message but since I am banned! I cant! haha

Also that's really a bummer about your facebook...I don't know that I'd have the motivation find all my friends on there...maybe just start it up and let them come to you?

You sound like you have strong character man. The replies you used are even better then mine! Stick to it and just use what you have learned.

There are a crap load of girls on facebook and dont get hung up on one. Take some risks and learn from them. I calibrate answers depending on the type of girl.

Dont rush for a number close. I tried "listen I have to go to to get a cashmere sweater for a friend. Problem is I dont know her exact size. Would you rather get a size too big or too small? You know what just text it to me, my number is 007" I used that 7x and got about 4 numbers from that. The girls that responded ended up just wanting sex. So I got rid of them

I realized my mistake and tried to build more comfort before going for a number close. So it comes out smooth. I try a bit of roleplay so that the pick up is unique and unforgettable

You're the prize, dont forget that.
