Been talking to this girl for a few days, spaced in a couple of weeks; the conversation seems good, she laughs, we share some stuff; it's generally light and funny, i tease her and she responds well by laughing. I ask for her phone number and no replay now for 4 days. So the question is, is it worth saying anything else or just let it go? Some info: I met her in person a few years ago so it wasn't a complete cold opening and she is almost 10 years younger. |

If she doesn't message back is she not interested. Move on? She did 4 days ago. |

Could be a lot of things. I was texting a girl one day and she didnt message me back so i figured she wasnt interested. 2 days after that she sent me a message saying "Ohh sorry! i started talking to my mom on the phone and forgot to message you back. WHy didnt you message me?" I say hit her up again just to start another conversatoin and try again. Honestly from my experience double texting isnt the big a deal to girls as guys think it is. If she's not interested anyway you wont be losing anything. |

I'm rubbish at girl stuff but "If she doesn't message back is she not interested" is pure bs. I've had cases where girls thought i was just making fun of them and they didn't want to "fall for it"; i'm in my 30s now and i've had girls in their early 20s that did not message back because they felt a lot of anxiety about hooking up with an older man, but more talk after lubed the situation. There are many reasons for the freeze when you ask for phone nr meet etc, not just that she's not interested. |

I left her alone though and didn't message anything back. |
