Need help, guys. Met this girl online almost 2 years ago, got her #, we talked on the phone a few times but wasn't able to get her to meet. Then I've met my exgf(we broke up a couple of months ago) &this girl popped up in my fb. (I think) I was doing pretty good but I messed it up - I was hanging out with my friend &while I was distracted I responded to her message(which seems like a shit test) without thinking. What would be the best way to fix it? ME:Hey. Wow, u look familiar, do I know you? lol HER:Think we talked on pof before not sure ME:I think you are correct lol U popped up in my friend suggestions on fb, I thought ur cute so I sent u a friend request But then I saw other pics & realized I've seen you before lol What happened? Why we never got to hang out? SUN 3:37PM ME:So, what u've been up to since then? HER:Nothing just working. What about you ME:Nothing much really - during days working &running errands, during nights I put on my black suit &drive around the city in my Tumbler )) What do u do for fun? SUN 6:15PM HER:Lol so you have a gf now? ME:Not anymore. I accept applications lol ME:How tall are you? SUN 7:31PM HER:Lmao im 5ft ME:Hmm. I'll count that as a plus - I'll always feel myself even taller whenever ur around lol ME:So, what kind of work u do? HER:I work at Goodwill what about you HER:Lol how tall are you SUN 10:38PM ME:lol I beat up bad guys and save damsels in distress. I'm 5'11". HER:Oh ok and really so your like some sort of super hero lol ME:lol No, I'm a professional Russian wink emoticon HER:Yea I saw that ME:What do you like to do for fun? |

First of all.. You have to stop prefacing your truths with excuses. Thats a bad habit. Get rid of it. Excuses are the nails that build the house a failure. Just say you fucked up and you want to make it better. No excuses needed. The conversation was try hard. Way too try hard. You were qualifying yourself the entire time. Let it go. Theres nothing to fix here. Be yourself man. You have to be impressive as you are. |
