I'm a black (dark as hell) guy and i was curious if this would limit responses i get from dating sites. I like white, latin, and arab girls but i feel like because of their first impression they will ignore my messages because i'm black. I'm not saying all will do that, but most will. |

You might wanna mention where you are living. Being a black dude would be a problem if you lived in say Dubai or something. But if you're living in a western English speaking country, I have found you will develop a niche for yourself. For example, i have a ginger friend (I know, bad right?) and he thinks it's an issue till every now and then he meets some amazing stunning girl that has a thing for ginger hair guys. So it may seem you're getting bad responses from a big chunk of girls. But great thing is, when you meet the girls that dig you, they are REALLY into you. I have met girls that were like 'You are really charming, but i'm into black guys' my ex girlfriend's sister, was obsessed with the black D. Also, you can really dig into your niche, if you go into a hip hop club which has majority of black people and you see white girls in there, THEY are into black dick. What an easy way to filter white girls that like black guys. |

Yes i know that there is a small majority that like black guys in online dating. But i would have to do alot of work to find them compared to a light skinned person. I would need to talk to much more girls in order to weed out the reluctant ones.

When you go fishing, don't fish from anywhere. Fish where the fish are. For example, you can filter just by looking at the way girl's dress and act. I have developed a niche of girl that I know that are into me. An easier example, but be, let's say you're the goth stereotype. Instead of going to a shopping mall and approach any girl with a pulse, instead, he should niche down and approach other goth girls. The conversion would be more fruitful i'am sure. Know your niche, rally have a think about the type of girl that's into you. It's a lot harder for white guys because we blend too well. GO WHERE THE FISH ARE. Some dating websites allow you to pick girl's that have a preference to black guys, hip hop night clubs etc....and KFC |

Yes that's true, but it will take more work and time to find those girls because they arn't smaller amount of them then the general option. Nevertheless, you've open my mind to this niche selection concept. I will DEFIANTLY do this because i believe conversion will be folds easier my friend, thank you.For example, you can filter just by looking at the way girl's dress and act. If it was easy, then everybody will be doing it. You know what my plan is? Move to Asia, being a white guy is like being a celebrity. I like Asian girls too. So I am working my butt to run an online business that will enable to travel to the places where I know the MAJORITY girls will dig me. (Also go for life experiences as well of course) I am going where the fish are hungry (cheaper living too) If I stay put in the UK. It's an up hill swim and have to make do with fishing in my clique niches. As in, laser focusing on the girls that I know dig me which takes some serious fishing. I think Okcupid has a questionnaire thing that will help you filter the gals. I think on POF you can target certain girls too. That's the shit thing with Tinder, you can only filter by age and radius. |

How your race affects your chances kinda depends on a bunch of things. Like if you're a black guy in a white small town with racial lines, then your chances would be reduced. If you're a black guy in Africa and want the non white girls who live there, your chances are better because these girls may be more open to/have done interracial dating. Also, what's your stereotype and what type of girls are you going after? Some non black girls like the "thuggish" black guy. If you're a clean cut black guy going after them then your chances are reduced. If you're a thuggish black guy going after clean cut white girls looking for the same, then your chances are reduced. |

I'm after white, arab, and hispanic chicks. I have a clean-cut hip-hop fashion style but it's not necessarily thuggish. Also, what's your stereotype and what type of girls are you going after? I did some research in google in it turns out that the online dating world is in fact consumed with discrimination - white men get WAY more response rates from white women. But i just learned not to let that stop me, i will have to accept my numbers. I might not get as much as a white guy but i sure as hell will get ALOT that i'm pleased with which is all that matters. |

I'm not black, I'm native american, but I have alot of black friends and really great guys. I will tell what it's like here in Indiana...I have found that they have less trouble getting women here. I'm not sure if it's the way the act, or the smoothness when they talk, but it just seems so much easier for them. I have work at it, and they seem to just be naturals. so, don't worry man. you'll do just fine.

Unless you're talking about tinder, The women see your message before they see your picture. And i've personally found that a lot of women replied to my catchy messages before they even read the profile or looked at the pictures. Game is game man and its universal. Femininity submits to what femininity submits to. Small adjustments can help anyone but as a whole, women are going to be women. So, I think you're straight. How do you do with women off line? Online is a bit of a cheat code for guys who aren't as successful in person but it ain't the second coming of christ. |

I was referring to POF and MeetMe which show your picture when you send them a msg. The women see your message before they see your picture. I don't have any skill set offline yet but i know through practice it gets better. I know this race issue doesn't apply offline because there's not many other guys competing for them and getting their attention is easier. |

I don't have any skill set offline yet but i know through practice it gets better. I know this race issue doesn't apply offline because there's not many other guys competing for them and getting their attention is easier. Back when I used Okcupid and POF I found that a lot of the women would open and read the message first before deciding if it was worth their time to look at the pictures. I realized that when I would get responses before I got a new visitor. I even asked. The opener had caught there attention enough for them to at least be open to the idea of conversation. At that point even if they didn't find you the most physically attractive they'll be talking because they find you entertaining. Keep that up long enough and feminine emotions would have had time to sidestep the looks. I'm a great looking guy, with quality pictures, but my confidence still says " I'll get any woman, anywhere, despite the circumstance or medium i'm using to contact them ". Its similar to making a woman orgasm.. I tell guys all the time that are too quick to go for the breast and pussy that, you have to be of the mindset that you're going to make a woman orgasm with whatever part of the body she gives you. Stop trying to specialize on a particular area, specialize on her entire body, I've mad women orgasm from having sex with them and I've also made women orgasm from licking their top mouth lip. Women are orgasmic by nature. Use it to your advantage and their pleasure. Give me morse code and 5 foot thick stone wall to communicate to someone on the other side and I'll turn it into a lay. The game is 80% attitude. |

I tried to read all the replies but I was to distracted by "Drunk History" anyways back to the topic. When it comes to Online I would assume it's 70% looks 20% race and 10% other factors. Regardless of Race and looks if you want to improve your chances you need at least between 3 to 4 good quality pictures no selfies( in mirror or car) and nothing that looks like it was taken by a motorola flip phone. Lets face it when it comes to online the majority of girls are racist and only want white guys, so depending on the dating sites you use it's all about the numbers game and filtering. |
