Matched up with a gal on Tinder. Opened her with: "We match! Doesn't the Tinder fine print say we're supposed to set a wedding date next" She responded with: "Yes! I hope December 1st works for you? If not, the 2nd is open, but I kind of have my heart set on the first, and breaking your soon-to-be-wife's heart straight off might set the wrong tone forever, yes?" That seemed to me to be saying it was my place to be subordinated to the pedestal she's on, and I'm not about to go along with it, so I responded with: "I'm not free until the 5th. I hope you don't get too upset. I'd hate to have to put you over my knee for a spanking right off the bat." Now, some women are genuinely looking for a doormat. When they meet a guy, they test him to see if he'll be her doormat, when he shows he won't, she buggers off looking for weaker prey. If this chick is one of them, I figured she'd just unmatch and that'd show me. If she's bantering, she'll respond. Her response: "I'm getting my hair washed on the 5th and don't do spankings, so maybe it just wasn't meant to be" Not sure why, maybe it's like getting writer's block for an author, but I'm completely brain dead with what to respond next. I've had a few ideas, but none feel like a winner. I just got her last message this morning, so I've got time yet. Looking for input. Ideas so far: -You're going to wait through all of November before you wash your hair next? Ick! -Well, maybe we could just meet up this weekend for a drink or coffee instead, then. -Combo of the two above - Let's just meet this weekend for a drink or coffee then, but soon because if you're waiting until December to wash your hair again, I'd rather meet you before things get to icky on your head. Like I said, I feel like I haven't come up with the best response yet. Looking for ideas. |
