So me and my current live in girlfriend decided we wanted to find us a shared girlfriend. We have both single and couple profiles on a few sites and we both have no problem picking up women on our own online or around town, but the second we mention that we are a couple ~75% of them bail, then mention threesomes and lose ~75% of the remaining. Is this is just to be expect? Any tips/suggestions on how to go about finding girls into the polyamorous lifestyle?

What do you mean by mentioning that you guys are a couple? My ex was bisexual and we used to have threesomes from time to time. The thing about it was I never approached the women, my ex did. There is something about a woman approaching another woman while the guy stands back that builds comfort. If you are approaching as a couple, you're likely intimidating the other woman.

As for online, most our success so far has came when I open, then after a few exchanges I excuse myself and my gf comes in and drops her number. Girls seem real quick to text up another girl.

If I were you, I'd forget making a game of it because you may be losing more women because of it. Have your girlfriend approach while you sit back with the attitude of you can give a fuck or not if the other woman joins in. Forget about getting a number, get the other girl and bounce her back to your place as soon as she's interested. The thing is that threesomes is while an ego boost to a man it is more about the women, so hopefully you can drop your pride a little bit. Have your girl make it more about the two of them. Like a she does her while you do your girlfriend. If you can get to that point, the other woman will likely welcome you when you guys are in the moment.
