Hi guys, I've recently had my first go at using Tinder on my Ipad. Basically, I know almost NOTHING about how it works! Firstly, does Tinder automatically put ALL my Facebook photos on my Tinder profile? Some of my Facebook photos are really shitty, so I think this is the first reason why I'm not getting ANY matches as yet! So my first question is, for all the photos I want to delete from my Tinder profile, is the only way to do that to remove them all from my FACEBOOK page first? What's the deal?! Secondly, after using it (Tinder) maybe only 2 or 3 times, I haven't got a SINGLE match yet! I mean I'm not a great looking guy, but not terrible either! The only matches I've had were "spam" "fake" profiles! Is this normal?! My final question: If & when I DO start getting matches, what kind of short messages are best to use? Any help & feedback would be great! Cheers fellas! |

You select which photos from your facebook that you want to show on your tinder profile. You need to have few good pictures of yourself that tell an interesting story about yourself. At least one good profile pic, another with preselection and you doing something fun or cool. Don't waste time analyzing every girl or photo, just swipe every girl to the right and then filter your matches from there. You can send a funny relevant nickname and ask an open ended question as your first message. |

You may want to read the actual Tinder tutorial and Tinder help file that comes with the app... Or Google how to use the app --- THEN come here and ask for tips on how to improve your profile. |

Hi fellas, Thanks for your help & feedback! I spent a while today deleting & untagging various old and/or "unflattering" pictures from my Facebook account. Now my next step is get some decent NEW photos and see how things work out! |

Hey guys, I'm still very new to Tinder! What would you recommend I put in my profile for the "info/about me" paragraph part? My photos are ok but not great, and I'm hardly getting any matches... Any help would be much appreciated, as always! Cheers fellas! |

im having a hard time with tinder myself.. basically its all judged by first appearance.. im not a white guy and am over 30 now, so im sure women in their early 20s probably get turned off on "eww hes 30" , yet in person, its no issue lol. Of all the guys who say they get alot of scores on tinder (from what i heard on a siriusxm radio show), they must be really good looking guys. Since im over 30, id have to pay to get more swipes, not sure if its worth it for me. |

I am quite average looking and i am not too shabby at Tinder I dress very well though which anybody can do. Most people are simply lazy, read my thread in my sig, for more info |

Update: I'm getting a FEW "matches", but only ONE was genuine! Literally EVERY other match I've ever got was a fake/spam profile! Is this normal! Are there lots of these fake profiles about? Cheers guys! |

Any profile that matches you with no description and only 3 pictures, no mutual friends or interests, is a spam profile. I just wait, they'll send you spam, and it'll be deleted.Cheers guys! My problem with Tinder is I will match with a girl, send a few messages and it dies. I was close to closing my first two Tinder matches but one I went into sexting because it was late and it felt good to have someone want me after my break-up. The second one, I let it fizzle out because I wasn't emotionally there. Haven't had any real success since. I blew up my one real good connection, with a girl that would have been perfect for me, by being too-needy and invested more than her. She's still on my snapchat and facebook but I haven't tried to re-engage even though its been 2 months. |

1) There is a lot of tips once you search online on how to enhance your profile. Take a good head shot as first pic. Put 4-5 photos. One could be a photo on a social situation and one doing activities. 2) Switch your preference to men and go through the dudes profiles to see how you compare yourself. I 've noticed a few guys having decent second , third pics and horrible ones as a first picture. A lot of other guys have no clue how to present themselves and almost all their pictures are goofy pictures. 3) Girls have different matching criteria. Guys might swipe right almost all girls. Girls rarely do even for good looking guys. They are much more used to moving the finger swiping left. Before they match you they will open your profile. And they will like to see something they find interesting and intriguing. |
