Recently, a strange hb8 friended me on facebook. I've never met her, I dont know her.
How do I handle the situation?

I'm relatively new to this forum, but I'd say something like:

me: So do you normally send random friend requests to cute guys you don't know :lol: or am I the exception?

Then read her response and respond accordingly. You could leave off the part about "or am I the exception?" as well.

Hey guys, going like that isn't going to be perceived as cocky at all! It sounds rude... almost like you're insulting her or taking her gesture of adding you as being a cheap girl. What you first want to do is build comfort with her first, before wanting to build your value in her eyes which you're trying to rush by saying, "Do you send a request to cute guys...?"

You could always start with "Haha Do you ever get off facebook?" I've successfully opened with that plenty of times. Or just use "I believe i saw you at a (Party, concert, ect.)?" I'm no pro but those have worked for me goodluck bro!
