This is the convo: Me: So this isn't one of the typical "you're so beautiful" kinda message you get everyday, and wanted to ask how do you feel when someone kisses you on the first date! HB9,5: (In Romanian) So, as you can see I'm speaking Romanian. Me: (In Romanian) Usually, after we've pretended to be British the first few messages, we transition smoothly to Romanian and hopefully the charm doesn't fade away. Anyway, I feel that white chocolate and kissing on the first date is a big thing for you, but can't resist them everytime . HB9,5: (In Romanian) No one's pretending. It's just you. By the way, I don't like what I'm reading. Not at all. Can we talk about a comeback here? Am I missing something? Ok, she being an almost 10 with hot selfies, I took a high risk, high reward kinda game. But I'm usually playful. This topic is especially designed for foreign guys. Do you talk exclusively in your native language on OKC? I mean, the site is in English, the profiles are in English, so why not start the conversations in English as well. Then, after a few messages, things slide naturally to your own language. Also by avoiding my questions, she's clearly stating she's not interested. I'm thinking about replying: You just called the guy who spent his childhood in Sydney "a pretended British"! You finally made me laugh! |
