Can't seem to get a date?

Post subject:  Can't seem to get a date?
Well I got a girls number from a dating site.
We sent 6 or so messages back and forth before I asked for her number
When I asked, she asked me if I could speak to her on an "app" I don't know instead
I figured she was just testing me or something and felt she was being awkward so I said no and told her when she changes her mind send me a message.
10 minutes later she gave me her number so I said great I'll call you tonight.
When I call her I asked her some light questions about herself, often she would answer so quickly I didn't even understand her.
After 5 minutes she made up some BS to leave the convo, it all sounded rehearsed and I know better.

Since then I haven't felt like bothering again.
I'm not sure what the right approach should be on dating sites, considering I don't even want sex i just want someone to connect with emotionally.

'meh' = Not giving a shit. Not caring about the outcome is a good attitude, so is being a minority as long as that's what makes you stand out.

But you must get sexual, why do you think they are online looking for men?

I do care about the outcome, just not enough to completely change the way I am. So you're right in a way.

They are online for love? But they look so innocent! :P

How should I attract the girls not looking for sex?
