Your main profile pic should be the one with your buddy in fatigues. Take down the first picture and the muscle flex in the mirror. I think the one in the mirror might be killing your game. I've dated a lot of women online, and they almost always say muscle flexes in a mirror are a big turn off. It translates to a guy saying, "I'm hot, have sex with me.". Put something funny in your profile like.... "I love to work out! It makes me feel great! Even though I do have have washboard abs, I'm too modest to flex my guns in a bathroom mirror. BUT maybe if your lucky, you'll get to see them anyway.". You are educated, in the service, and in great physical shape. There is no reason you should be getting bad responses. Maybe you need to brush up a few turn offs in your profile, and work on messaging. Honestly, you should be dating attractive from POF without problems, dude. EDIT: another good way to show off your built physique without looking "douchey" (not saying you are, that's what women say not me). Is to get your friends together for some pics. Do a flag football game, and have a pic of you playing football with your shirt off. Or even basketball, water skiing, or anything. It looks A LOT MORE attractive than just flexing alone, in a mirror. |

Thanks a lot man. I was wondering why I was having such an issue; I checked out a few other guys profiles and was thinking "shit these guys aren't half as good (from an objective point of view) as I am, and they're fat. If im not getting any responses, this site must just be totally barren." |

I had doubts about the whole danger thing. I'm not sure that's an idea you want to put in women's minds when they're thinking about meeting a stranger. |

dlightmen's advice is spot on. I would add a couple of things: First of all, take Anime out of your list of interests, even if it's genuine. It really doesn't go with the whole man vs boy thing you have elsewhere and you'd probably be better off proactively sending messages to girls who are into that. Your nickname is too brolike. Great for this site but might cost you a few clicks. Consider expanding your about section. Right now you've got lots of attitude but little personality. Talk about your interests and what kind of girl you want as opposed to selling yourself to them. |
