this is a woman who is in my social circle, but I don't know well. I struck up a quick convo with her back on solstice. last week I attempted some online game, but she flaked quickly. Any suggestions. She's probably coming into town in a couple of weeks staying for a month. She lives a couple hundred miles away, so I want to be on my game when she gets here. Anyway here's the transcript: Me - 1/15, 5:37pm Hey <HB9>, how are the recording sessions going? Got any of your music online? <HB9> - 1/16, 12:17pm Slow going. Not yet. Me - 1/16, 6:02pm You're a woman of few words. What seems to be keeping you from kicking it into high gear? motivation? inspiration? time constraints? people you barely know bugging you on facebook? all of the above? <HB9> - 1/16, 6:48pm 2 of my band members are in Cage the Elephant. They are very busy on tour. We have record when they're home. They are also producing our album, so we have to be patient. Im in their Dads band. Me - 1/16, 8:22pm Nice, I like 'No Rest,' but I'm not really familiar with anything else of theirs. Is your style similar? and that was it |
