Post subject:  so, my attempt at a profile

analyse critic and advise if you could please chaps :D

Hi I'm Phil! i'm 23 and a fire fighter, not really sure what to expect from this as I've never tried it before but will see what happens.

i'm really easy going and will talk to anyone who will talk back. Although I recently learned you're not supposed to try and make friends with people whilst on the London underground :(

Very laid back, I'd much rather make someone laugh than cry, unless it's crying with laughter, tho it's usually because I've done something stupid :P

I love adventure, depending when you're reading this I'm either just about to go traveling around Europe or I've just been!
I'm also really active. Training at the moment for Tough Mudder in November, already paid for my ticket so there's no backing out now.

what I'm doing with my life
anything and everything as long as i can fit in between work, i want to experience everything there is to experience, tho i HATE being shown how to do something, i want to learn from my own scars not somebody else's.

i'm really good at
counting up to and down from 1-10 my record is three times without getting a single number wrong

the first thing that people usually notice about me
usually the fact that i rarely wear pants and my socks are near enough guaranteed to be odd, spotty and pink

favorite books
i'm a big reader, and the books don't even need to have pictures in them any more, mum'd be so proud.

First Date
snow man building!,,,, may have to wait for snow until first date :(

Your Summary, which is the most important part, is super boring and generic. With a profile like this all that will matter is your pictures and even then you will lose points. Every guy says they are "laid back", 90% of guys start their profile with something boring like "Hi, I'm blah blah blah" etc. etc. You have to think outside the box and do something different. Go look at 10 guys profiles and do something that is completely different than all of them.

you know what i knew i should have just gone and looked at other peoples profiles first, i've read that advise before i just,, didn't cheers for guidance:D

slight update,,
here is the greatly modified profile, so far, i'm still in the middle of writing things right now, so any more tips would be brilliant :D also any more things i should be mentioning, i've viewed a lot of peoples profiles and i'm not sure how to get in the important things that everybody says whilst coming across as unique.

i’m on the hunt somebody to care for my cat whilst i’m away travelling, the company is brilliant (as long as you like cats) however the wages are really quite terrible, food is provided as long as you don’t mind eating “Iams”

I'm a fire fighter in Liverpool which is both a career and a passion, it’s more than just putting the wet stuff on the hot stuff, and at the very least provides some brilliant conversational pieces, and a fairly valid reason to walk around with a soot covered face and the smell of burnt wood wafting tenderly from my trousers
