I get a lot of profile views from my messages, but rarely a reply... so I suspect my profile or pictures may suck. I'd appreciate any tips on making it better. Profile is here: http://www.okcupid.com/profile/iconicm |

Profile is very good in my opinion. I think your pics are Killing it though. Exciting profile, but opposite on the pics. I don't mean to offend you, but you don't look sexy at all. (No homo) Your fashion, grooming and physique needs improvement. Your results will be better and better the more you work on those. You seem like the type of guy that has banter and probably send them good messages. Usually in my experience, a good profile and good messages but no results, usually its the pics is the problem. I also think paid websites are better for people that are 30+ like match.com since girls have to pay to be in it therefore there are less time wasters |

Doh. Well, some of those pics are old and I'm a little better at the fashion thing now. I just uploaded another pic in what I think is a decent outfit... Problem is I'm more likely to be behind the camera, and the last few years I've been in a relationship so haven't been out much. Not many decent pics of me without the ex... |

Just crop the ex pics. It's probably better if you leave a little bit of her on so it looks like you're not a loner. |

You have good stuff in your profile but you need to shorten it. Basically, your profile has a lot of high quality coke in it but you added way too much baking soda. Keep the good stuff and cut the boring crap that doesn't matter. (Born in Tampa, I love to do stuff parts, Im here to meet people and make friends, etc. all filler you don't need) Also agree the pictures aren't that great. Also take out "or you are high maintenance" if she seems that way, just don't go out with her. In my opinion, most women interpret guys who don't want high maintenance girls as "cheap" even if they are not high maintenance girls themselves. Your favorite books etc. part is way too long. Pick a few interesting things, not listing a million things. Remember, okcupid randomly picks a section to show when people search. If a woman just sees this list of tons of movies and video games etc. it is not going to make you stand out at all. |

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that pics with an ex cropped out were received poorly? Maybe I'm mistaken? It's probably better if you leave a little bit of her on so it looks like you're not a loner. @TheFury: Was trying to be funny with the high maintenance bit... but gotcha, it's out. I'll look at shortening up the rest later.. thanks! Are _any_ of the pics up there now ok? (EDIT: Just added a few more... knowing specifically which ones to ax would be great!) |

I'd really love to help you out but I'm literally very new to PUA and this forum so I'd give terrible advice? I was wondering though wether I could get people's opinion on my POF profile as well? Search "papawheelz" Wouldn't let me post a link as "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs." PS: Sorry if it seems like I'm hijacking your post man? I thought it'd be better than creating a new one? Hope that's cool. |

You're probably better off creating your own thread... people who've already read this thread might not be reading your post.
