Post subject:  Convo is drying up, help!
Been going back and forth with this girl about 10 messages, she is opening up quite a bit. I just asked her about her experiences with online dating and got this reply

"Yes I have! I've met a lot of guys off of this site. One of them I dated for a little over a year. I had good experiences"

I'm worried the convo is going to start getting dry.. how should I respond to this to keep it fun? And move towards me suggesting a date... well, better said, telling her she is going on one with me :p

Why has texting been going on so long to begin with? You need to start viewing texting as less of a means of actual conversation and substance, and more as a means to set date/time for meetup. Only so much can be pervade through text. You can't vibe as if you were in person.

This. I could literally spend all day on this forum telling people to stop trying to create attraction with messages and use them to arrange a date only. I don't know why so many guys on here simply refuse to accept that this is THE WAY TO MESSAGE.
