Hi all,
Pretty stoked that I managed to do a # close so quickly - as I normally wait too long. Could anyone give some advice on how I could escalate in text? Below is the transcript - this girl is damn hot, too.

Hey, how's it going? Are you studying your MBA @ UCSF? Stanford? Congrats on that... very admirable. :)

Ahhh! Gotcha. I've been taking courses at Rady's @ UCSD, but I've been stuck on the career track for awhile... so it's been preoccupying. What do you plan to do with it?

So, I open up with the standard opener: "save this number, it's the most important number you're ever going to get ;)"

she says "Haha, ok! ;)"

And that was just about 30 seconds ago.

Any suggestions how I continue with this one? Or any critique on my game? Thanks all :)

Ok, so I sucked it up and went for it, and kept my eyes on the prize. I could tell she was getting impatient, so I escalated quicker than I was comfortable with and it was successful!

I would still love critique on this, because I know that I could improve + progress better.

I asked this specifically because I gathered she was foreign. I'm pretty good judge of where people are from (especially here) and assumed she was Russian.

I'm not sure what is going to come of it. Maybe I'm blind, but asides from the fact that she accepted my invitation, I didn't see too many IOI's. I don't know if this will escalate to something or how to approach it exactly. She's a smart girl, here for her MBA. I'm pretty stoked. :)
