Been talking to this girl on OKC and sent her a message with "Text me, 312-###-####"
She responded with "No, that's too much work. You text me ###-###-####"
I respond with "I'm not about to do all the work in this relationship ;-)"
She followed up with "I CHOOSEEE YOUUUU PICACHHUUUU to do the work. "

Can I maintain my frame if I text her first? Please advise.

So let me get this straight. You found a girl you like, she gives you her number and wants you to text you, and is even playful about suggesting it, and you're fooling around worrying about your "frame"? Seriously, from a woman's POV you need to know when to push back a bit, which I think you did, and when to just do what it takes to get in the same room with this girl. After all, what is the ultimate purpose? To maintain frame or actually meet this girl?
