Post subject:  Critique my OKC profile

Here it is: www.okcupid.com/profile/baaahmatt

I usually change it up every few days - delete some lines, add new ones - just to stay in the news feed. The only girls that actually msg me first are either fat or have boyfriends and are looking for another guy to a threesome.... lol But I do get lots of replies from hb7's and higher when I send 1st msgs about something in their profile and it works great - like 50-60% reply rate depending on the girl. Even got an hb10 to talk for a while but after she told me what her name was she never never msged me back again, fuckin bitch... Well, please criticize my profile as much as possible. I wanna make some good changes to it to get more girls interested.

Thanks

Well from my limited pool of knowledge, I could say the fact you only have 'looking for new friends and activity partners' could go either way. It might make girls more comfortable when you message them, but it is unlikely they will message you. I assume you want to sleep with these ladies, so I tend to believe you should be honest about these in your profile.

Also your 'Message me if' statement is very negative. Again this could go either way, it shows you have standards but, it may repel a lot of women based on the fact you project a negative new certain women.

The rest of your profile is alright, I will let someone with more experience critique the rest.

Yea I was trying to experiment with the "looking for" section and see how that works. That's true that I'm trying to sleep with as many girls as I can but I also want some kind of a relationship but I don't know if I should use OKC for that... But at the same time I don't want to scare girls away because of how a lot of them exaggerate things. We'll see how it goes because from logical point of view most girls on dating sites are pretty insecure and not really relationship material anyways...

I'm gonna change the "message me" statement around a little bit for sure. I just wrote this one today and I got on hb7 (first time ever) to msg me first. The msg was about my job, how she admires me working this hard and risking my life blah blah blah blah blah...... I definitely want to keep some of it up but I think I should make it more playful because it sounds kinda blunt now...

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it.

UPDATE:
Changed my "You should message me if" section from:

"How about this: DON'T message me if you're a bartender, a stripper, drink beer through a straw, or are too horny to be in public. I'm OK with everything else :)"

To:
"If we share similar interests and you want to get to know me. "

And WOW what a change, most girls that I've messaged (only about 6's or 7's tho...) and actually hold some kind of a conversation with, keep coming back to my profile and keep checking me out. I also get more replies from 8's, too. I guess that could have made a difference to a point, or the girls I've been talking to are just different... Once I get some HB8 or higher on the hook and actually meet up with her I'll post a convo on here for critique.

Yep. Avoid exclusion in profiles. See. It works.

From a woman's POV the "Friends / Activities Partner" thing is an INSTANT turn off. We know you are on the site to get laid. Why are you trying to scam us by pretending you just want to ride bikes and be friends?

This is how attraction works: what you put out - you get back. If you want a woman who you are attracted to and who is attracted to you (sexually & maybe romantically) you have to say that. Period. No pussyfooting around trying to play it safe or prevent girls from "exaggerating".

With the dating game, you're either IN or OUT. Do you want to get stuck in the friend zone or piss some girl off by hitting on her when she thought you just wanted a friend to go biking with?

Best of luck!

Thanks, it really helps to get a woman's point of view. Besides the above, is everything else pretty solid? Should I add/remove some stuff?

Man, I really envy your reply rate, how are you guys doing that? I think girls generally respond to a general "feeling" a profile gives because most will just skim. I felt the whole thing was pretty meh and vanilla, it's possible girls are looking at it again and again because they're not getting any kind of sense of who you are. The killing spree part was way creepy with a twist of needy. I'm just not feeling a lot of passion in it, but at least you're not over-explaining yourself. Take this with a grain a salt because I have had shit luck getting a date online the past 6 months.
