Basically a very attractive HB I've been chatting to online told me this and I have no idea how to respond. Attempting to impress her in 25 words would be too AFC what do you guys think would be a good response? We've been flirting a lot and I have previously received lots of IOI's, but there is a bit of distance between us and despite talking about meeting up we've both started chatting less for that reason. She has recently uploaded more pics and she looks so much hotter so I think her mindset has also changed with the increased attention she's likely been getting and I've fallen behind a few other guys. Here's a bit of our convo:

Me: Why did we stop talking? I miss our chats. I've actually got a bit of spare time soon and would still like to hangout.

Her: Not sure. Lost interest maybe?

Me: Why did you lose interest?

Her: Are you bothered I lost interest?

Me: Not really. You live too far away and spending time with each other would be hard. But I liked chatting to you and would have liked to meet you if you were still interested.

Her: I'm sure you will be able to interest me again. Or can you?

Me: Haha being cheeky now? Cute. I can. But do you think I want to? :P

Her: Me not replying bothered you.
Of course, I'm a cheeky gal handsome.
So you can't interest me?
Now is your time.

Me: Would you be bothered if I ignored you?
Haha that's what I miss about you.
I said I can. Do you think you can interest me though?

Her: I already interest you (:

Me: What makes you think that? :P

You are fucked. Big Time. I tell you why.

- First of all you are saying that you don't think the two of you would not work out (because you hope by this you show disinterest) and then you immediately say you still want to hang out.

- She asks you can you interest her, you say flat out that you can = you qualify to her

She says that she knows that you are interested in her (which is the case she reads you like a book) that's the nail in the coffin.

With a girl like this your mindset should be: "Who the fuck she think she is to expect me to impress her ?" - In a playful way of course.

You can reply something like "Why do you think I need to impress you ?"

Haha yeah, that's the feeling I got as well. The interaction has completely changed, it was her who actually opened me and since I basically reinitiated she has gone from showing strong IOIs to demanding I impress her which I found odd as she had already admitted she thought I was impressive. I think I'll try that unless anyone has any other suggestions.

You tried to be too cute in this chat and it cost you. You can try: "How about you meet me for a drink and I will impress you in 25 minutes or less" or something to that effect, or just answer her question. I can't tell you how to do that becuase I dont know what makes you impressive

Were there any messages in particular it seemed that way or just in general?
I'm not really going to entertain the idea of 'impressing' her as I feel that would be way too needy.

You already look like a super needy dude. Girls aren't that stupid that you can message a girl saying: "Im hot shit i dont need you" every 5 seconds and think she won't read between the lines.

Just answer her question at this point or ask her out like I suggested or some combination.

This is going to be harsh - but I have to say it: I literally cringed each time I read a line you wrote. She completely dominated you, and I don't think you even realized it.
Yes you did extremely poorly, but someone has to teach you WHY you did poorly.

Let me break it down:

You acknowledge that she lost interest by saying you're "not really" bothered by that fact. Then you start qualifying yourself to her. THEN you say that you want to meet her again.

She knows she is in control, and all this:

...following the previous exchange is too little too late. It is a very obvious attempt by you trying to regain control of a conversation that is far out of reach.


Your words are a reflection of your thoughts and (I sound like a broken record because I say it to so many guys... but I'll say it again:) you need to work on your inner game - really start thinking of yourself as the prize rather than reacting to her frame like a beta. Keep practicing.
