Anyone noticed how you're not allowed to friend request people on FB that you don't know in real life? I got a message saying that your account can be banned if you do this... Wasn't Facebook developed for networking... It is a social network... How are we supposed to use FB for dating or meeting new people now? Oh yeah... we'll have to pay... or look at their ads I guess... Anyone had this same msg? |

Use a real dating site or dating app.

The key to using facebook is not to send friend requests to people you don't know, because if they deny the request facebook will ask them "Do you know this person outside of facebook?" and if they say "no" then facebook will prevent you from sending friend requests for a period of time and they warn that repeated violations might get you banned. It is patently ridiculous, but that's facebook. Instead, visit a target's page, then send her a message saying, "You look nice. Are you? Nice?" and then wait for her to respond and then start gaming her from there. Usually when you message someone with "You look nice. Are you? Nice?" they respond back with something like "LOL Yeah I'm nice" or "Yeah I like to think I'm nice." Which is just a simple direct opener that can get your foot in the door. From there, manage expectations. Calibrate her interest and then try to "friend-close". If you can friend-close and add her successfully to your friends list then you have successfully made a new contact on facebook. From there, show her your personality with interesting status updates and tasteful content. Finally, send her a private message asking her if she would like to go grab sushi with you and that you are going anyway and she should come. Best of luck. |
