I sent an opener commenting on her creativity and got this response... any advice on where to take this? should I ignore her comment about being taken out to dinner? Quote: Yes actually. Finished building the chicken coop we've been working on. It's something we (my roomate and I) can be proud of. The chicks seem to like it, too.
I also biked the Rail Trail and got taken out to dinner twice! (That last one is exciting because it almost never happens.) |

I assume you are opposed to take this girl out to dinner? Why? Financial issues? Why not respond something like:Quote: Yes actually. Finished building the chicken coop we've been working on. It's something we (my roomate and I) can be proud of. The chicks seem to like it, too. I also biked the Rail Trail and got taken out to dinner twice! (That last one is exciting because it almost never happens.) "Cool blah blah blah... Want to add drinks to that dinner? Let's get together sometime" |

no, not at all! I would take her out to dinner... I just figured it was best to ignore the fact another dude just took her out (assuming it was a guy)... should I ask about it? thanks for the help |

Say how you love being taken out to dinner too and you'll be nice enough to let her take you out. She'll respond with something along the lines of how you should take her out. Call her a copy cat and tell her she can't steal your idea. |

How about none of the above? It's the second message. Anyone who asks for a date on the second message is pretty much dead. |

You learn this from majikal? Disagree. 2nd message is fine, especially when there is an opening, and by the 3rd or 4th is pretty much a necessity.
