Hey PUAs, I have a situation that I believe a lot of guys run into occasionally, so advice would be much appreciated. I met this girl online last Friday, we chatted back and forth quite a bit and conservation went pretty well she always replies within half an hour and send me really long replies whenever I text her. However she never initiate any conversation first though I make sure I end the conversation first and she always be the last one to write. I set up a date with her for today, she replied she's excited and looking forward to that. However she texted me 4 hours before the meet up. Said that she just got a call from one of her friend that they are graduating today and she has no idea until the phone call. Then she said "So AS MUCH as I would love to spend my evening with you, friends come first. I feel like such a horrible person now" I replied "Okay no worries, but coffee on you next time. (:" She said "Of course, coffee on me" So I just leave it like that cause she didn't mention anything about rescheduling. So my question is should I wait a few days and text her again, or just leave it like that? Cause I can tell she is some what into me and I don't wanna miss out the opportunity. Side note: This morning I told her I have a bad news about we might have to do a weather check for our date today. She said don't worry about it, we can always rescheduling. So she did want to rescheduling for the bad weather but never mention it later today when she canceled on me. Thanks guys!! |

Her excuse seems to be legit. Normally flakers always cancel during the last hour of two. She gave you a reasonable time frame of 4 hours and showed willingness to reschedule so I wouldn't stress it too much. Just leave it at that for now. If she's interested, she will try to get in touch with you. If not, you can text her in couple days and remind her. |

I'd just go out with somebody else. Just freeze her out and leave up to her to contact you next. That way you won't come off needy and if she was really committed to going out with you, she'll contact you and buy you coffee. The graduation thing sounds made up to me. Most people know when the graduation ceremony is. There's really no reason not to move on. There are hundreds more women out there. So just freeze her out. Spend the time finding someone else. The more you contact her, the more needy you come off. IF she wants to got out with you, she'll contact you. |

Seems legit to me too. If she doesn't get back to you, you can text her something like: "I'll hang out in Cafe SoAndSo tomorrow. Join me for a coffee if you are in town." - Worked for me several times. @GKS, how would you re-initiate if she doesn't get back to you for a while? |

Thanks for y'all replies, so I left it like that and didn't message her for 2 days as I was pretty busy during the weekend. As I expect she didn't messages me so I shoot her a text today (Sunday) when I'm finally free. Told her the weather is getting better, I'm going to the beach next week and she should come join me for some ice cream. She replied "Well I do love ice cream and the beach" So we arranged the meet up on Tuesday after work. Though it doesn't sound too promising she just said "Yes yes". But whatever will see what happens. If not I still have another date on Friday. |

THIS is what I do. I don't care scheduling two dates for the same day ... it's a dick move I guess, but I game online a lot, and there are just too many girls to try to cram in

So I shoot her a text last night no reply what so ever and the date it's today. This is the first time she didn't response to my text, should I send her along those line maybe 2 hours before the date to see if she's coming? "When you're here look for a handsome gentlemen standing next to a giant ice sculpture as I will be carving in your honor. And hurry it's melting! (:" PS. I feel like she lost attraction after I freeze her out for 2 days after we cancel on our first date. But when I reschedule with her on Sunday (after the freeze out), we were still talking and joking normally. Didn't know where did it go wrong. |

She did not lose attraction because of the freezeout .. she didnt want to go any of the times and just felt bad so played it that way. Whatever, move on.

This is where text game falls short. Calling is always better than texting, it creates more comfort and harder for them to reject your suggestion. Normally I'd never text or call a girl to remind her of the date, because 1. I invite her to do something I'm already doing, so whether she turns up or not, I'll still do it, and 2. it's my way to test gauge their level of interest, if they can't even remember or have the decency to cancel me in a reasonable time frame, I'd just move on. Just wait it out. If she doesn't even text you to inform, cancel or apologize (which you will give her a hard time), she's not worth your time mate. |
