Is it typically a good idea to include a shirtless picture of yourself on your profile?

Especially if you are really in shape/into fitness.

Also what about pictures or drinking or smoking?

Unless you look Cristiano Ronaldo ripped then no, you're better off keeping your top on.

Many hotter women won't contact and rarely reply to a guy who has a topless picture. Girls online dating standards are impeccably high, they're incredibly judgemental. That's why canned openers you see many guys using in-field don't work online; it's like bringing a cricket ball to a tennis game.

Girls really don't care. It makes you look like a tool if it is a bathroom mirror shot of you with your shirt off. I don't even know where to begin with how many girls I've had tell me that it makes guys look like complete douche bags when they do this. If you are hanging out on the beach with a bunch of girls... sure. But don't make the sole purpose of the picture simply so you can post it to show how you look with your shirt off.

Totally Agree! From a woman's POV it is NEVER a good move unless you are at the beach, or some other activity that would require you to have your shirt off.

If you want to show off your body, take a pic when it's natural for you to have your shirt off such as surfing, beach volleyball, building sand castles or doing MMA, etc... It shows your fun and adventurous side.
