Post subject:  Second guessing including a certain picture in my profile
Flatland BMX has been a large part of my life for 15+ years, so it is certainly a part of who I am. There's also no question that it's a good picture, even though my face is obscured. It could be seen as adventurous, and shows an interesting hobby most people are unfamiliar with.
But, I'm 31, and while there are hundreds of riders my age, and I prefer younger women, I'm worried it may be seen as... not grown up, let's say. Also, it may invoke a stereotype of an adrenaline junky thrill seeker, which I am not.

They are actually more likely to see it as something immature. On a side note, I had a woman (28, I think) tell me "Oh you're a BMX rider. I know your type." This is impossible, considering this type of riding is done by 6 people in my entire state. More of a bitch shield than a shit test.

If you're concerned this photo makes you look immature (IMIO it's badass) then just include something in your profile/a photo or 2 that you think makes you look mature to balance it out.

I think my lack of photos has actually been getting me bad results. But I'll eventually add a few more photos.
