Nifty little trick I've discovered recently. Well, not really, it's actually basic text game knowledge, but a lot of us unintentionally ignore it. Sending short messages. Seriously, I've seen such a change in the attitude of the girls I'm messaging since I started this. And I don't mean messages like "oh cool" or "lol"... long enough to get your point across, short enough so it doesn't look like you're trying. The rule of thumb is that your messages shouldn't be longer than hers (or that much longer). The second valuable part? Don't always end your message with a question. This is just as if not more effective than the first. It shows you're not afraid of the conversation ending, which sub communicates you aren't needy, which of course sub communicates you have other options. Not ending your message with a question can shift the responsibility to keep the conversation going onto HER. I've been playing around with it and have been surprised at the amount of times a girl will continue the conversation. This gets her to invest, creates a better sense of connection, and best of all it feels more like a real conversation rather than you trying to keep her interested. Try it out! |

I also see short messages be successfull. Along those lines: How it reflects on you - it's intriguing and comes off as casual. - longer messages look needy. - question marks over time look needy (too many pulls) - lots of question marks look desperate - no questions look like you're not dependent on her response( you're independent) How it helps her - no serious time commitment to read (great for starting out) - low time commitment to respond (makes it easy for her) - smaller message can mean less cliches (you're beautiful, we have so uncheck uncommon, etc) As conversation continues, you'll want to draw out longer messages from her as you deepen the conversation. Thanks for the post. |

Short one word comments such as: Lame Boring Whatever Seem to be effective. They disqualify and make the girl work to justify herself. |
