Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, and to online dating so I'd appreciate some honest, useful criticism about my jDate/Matchcom profile. About me: Curious? You just passed the first step. I'm reliable, friendly, easy going, and fun. I can get along with anyone as long as they have a sense of humor, and conversely, if you don't have one, don't bother. I am currently a PhD student in SFU and enjoying every minute of it. It's not school anymore, it's where I get to do what *I* find interesting. Bio-informatics is the future of the world because it will cure illnesses and will make people's lives great! and I love being part of that future. What about you? what is your story? Interests: Coffee and conversation, Cooking, Hobbies and crafts, Movies/Videos, Music and concerts, Exploring new areas, Nightclubs/Dancing Sports and exercise: Bowling, Golf, Dancing, Martial arts, Running, Swimming, Weights / Machines Favourite hot spots Coolest places I've visited: The imperial palace in Tokyo, the Temple of 10,000 Buddhas in Hong Kong, the wailing wall in Jerusalem, The Moulin Rouge in Paris, Tower of London, Las Vegas, and the movie star neighborhood in Hollywood Favourite things: First and foremost, The Big Bang Theory, then James Bond movies. I like non fiction books, my favorite so far is "The Selfish Gene" by Dawkins and I listen to almost any kind of music. About... Needs more joviality. Apart from that, it's OK. Just a bit dry in some places. |

Ok, is this a bit more jolly? "Curious? You just passed the first step. My name's Boris and I'm new to online dating, so if you can make this exciting, extra brownie points for you. I'm reliable, friendly, easy going, fun and all in all comfortable in my own skin (but I usually wear cloths). I grew up in Israel, then grew up some more in Calgary, and now I'm here in Vancouver growing some more, the rain helps. My best qualities? my good looks, sense of humor, wits, high intellect, and above all, modesty. No descriptions, seems pretty straight forward. What do you like, weight lifting . is it weightlifting outside so you can work on your tan, is it in your gym with a personal trainer, so at your home with doing p90x? What you want is your personality to come across. That's the key. This seems more like your going into an interview. Just a perception I saw with it. |
