| Post subject: | Reviving a dead Facebook page |
Hi all, I have a dead Facebook page because I have always used phone/face to face contact as a means of interacting with people (that's normal, right?). I am extroverted/social/outgoing and have decent looks, so picking up women is relatively easy. Here's the problem - I made a Facebook page AGES ago because everyone was at the time, but I never got into it, and it pretty much just has a few old photos with the same friends over and over and about 2 posts from other people in the past like 3 years (lol). I use Facebook for the group function but socially I don't, but it could definitely enhance my social life right now. How can I REVIVE this insanely DLV FB page? (I have 100+friends) I figure I have two options - start a fresh and say I've never used Facebook but am starting and add hundreds of people - including HBs I know (and don't know) (and knowing like 60% of the people generally) or add a shit load of people on my dead page and make a blatant declaration that "I'm going to finally start using Facebook" or something. (I'd rather the latter because I do have some friends I'd like to keep on there, guess I could re-add them?) Advice much appreciate, THANKS GUYS! |

Just start to add people and don't worry about it. I had to start one from scratch about 3 years ago. The first thing I did was added all my cousins. Then when a chick would ask for my Facebook, I'd give it to her, and say I just used it to keep track of my cousins. You'll be surprised how quick friends add up on Facebook. I sent a friend request to one guy I was good friends with in HS. And from that people I hung out with would send requests to me and vice versa. I even got super effin lucky once. A girlfriend I dated in Jr. High. Turned out to a super hot stripper. |

Awesome man! In terms of profile pic/privacy settings for everything what would you recommend? The first thing I did was added all my cousins. Then when a chick would ask for my Facebook, I'd give it to her, and say I just used it to keep track of my cousins. You'll be surprised how quick friends add up on Facebook. I sent a friend request to one guy I was good friends with in HS. And from that people I hung out with would send requests to me and vice versa. I even got super effin lucky once. A girlfriend I dated in Jr. High. Turned out to a super hot stripper. For starters I could add people I knew from old schools which is like 200 people or so, plus everyone at what I'm doing right now (100 or so that I could recognize a face). Is it weird to add so many people at once? Should I remove old DLV pics/make some kind of "This page is now open" declaration? Also I'd be adding several HBs that I have a current interest in, does the DLV associated with this disqualify if its obvious I'm just adding shit loads of people cos I'm starting to use FB? Cheers! |

Not everything in PUA has to be a DHV, a DLV, etc... Sometimes you just got ho do shit and not worry about the intricate details... |
