Post subject:  OKC - 1 meetup now shes away for a month

So I met a girl off OKC and we get on really well, she said she was going away for 1 month for work and sent me a text message saying she would like to see me when she gets back.

Its been a month now, should I text here and ask how she is or does this seem too needy? Or should I just wait for her to contact me and move on if she doesn;t?

Did she tell you the exact date she'd be back? Or are you guestimating?

I'd wait a few days after the "deadline" of her being back then send her a casual text.

Yeah I agree. Definitely wait several days. I'd wait 5 days after the month mark.

Maybe even act like you're not sure if she's back. You can do the "something just reminded me of you" idea (like a billboard with her twin on it or something) and follow it up with "are you back in town? If so let's get a drink." And whatever.

also rember she just got home. She most likely just wants to chill an get her life back to normal again. I know when I go on vaca away I always need a few days rest just to catch up. So let it chill an yeah send her a message like hey btw hows your trip going or something along thows lines. Try not to be like when are you comming back or why havent you sent me a post card I need you and love you an are counting the days till you can be stalk by me.

The "hows your trip going" line would probably be best. Can't get any more casual than that.

If she doesn't respond then I'm sure you don't need us to tell you what that means.

I sent her this text:

14:37
"Hiya, saw something that reminded me of you. Hows the project going?"

(shes working abroad designing a restaurant)
Not long after I got this reply

17:15
"Hello there, is madness here. Such a different approach haha. how was the marathon? What reminded me of you?

So, she's still away and she remembers me which is good. Just wondering how to keep the interest going until she gets back?

You need to work on your text game. You can definitely keep things fun and interesting for a long time as long as you are light and witty in your texting.

Every text you send should elicit an emotion in her. Humor is the best way to do that.

There are a few ways you can handle the "what made you think of me?" question:
1. Something random and cute. A line I use often from "The Text Book" is "I just saw the cutest little squirrel outside gathering nuts and it made me think of you :)"

2. Something that you and her talked about or did together that could have genuinely made you think of her, but in a funny way. For example, if you two went to Starbucks together you could say something like "I saw a guy driving down the road with a Starbucks cup on top of his roof. I tried to wave him down to let him know, but he gave me the finger and kept going!"

3. Don't answer. Change the subject and don't bring it up again. Keep her wondering.

At any rate, I suggest you look up "The Text Book" or "The Ultimate Guide to Text and Phone Game." Both are excellent sources and have helped me tremendously with texting girls.

i have tried cocky/funny responses with her before but i just get a neutral response. i don't know whether its because she's eastern european and just doesn't get english humour? she's quite direct and straightforward when i speak to her so i tend to mirror her behaviour
